Did you know there are certain times of the day that are the best times to water your plants? Early, early in the morning, or late at night, will benefit your plants the most. Watering plants in the middle of the day in hot climates can scorch your plants and doesn’t help much since the water is evaporating much quicker. By watering early in the morning or late at night your plants drink in the water that they need to survive.
New plants especially need daily watering rituals to make sure their root system gets a good strong base so the plant may flourish. Rule of thumb for mature plants, at least one inch of water a week. Hot days / months check your soil moisture 4-8 inches deep is it moist or dry, this determines your watering needs.
